Once you have identified the appropriate content category, you can refine, or narrow down, your results. Filters are dependent on the selected content collection.

Filters range from the following options:

  • Search within results - This allows you to conduct another search within the list of results.
  • Timeline - Select from preset options or customize your date range.
  • Jurisdiction - Select your desired jurisdiction. If you have already selected this option before searching, you will not need to narrow down by this option.
  • Location by Publication - This option appears when searching within the news content collection. This filter narrows down by the geographical location of the publication. For example, if you wanted to search for publications published in New York state, you would use this filter to narrow down your results.
  • Subject - This option appears when searching for news and company and financial content collections and allows you to narrow down by subject or topic.
  • Industry - This option appears when searching for news and company and financial content collections. This filter narrows content down by a specific market industry.
