IRB Document Review is an asynchronous service to support students who are writing recruitment materials and consent letters for their IRB application.
You can use this service if you:
This service is most beneficial to students who can understand and apply written feedback on their own.
You will register below and attach your recruitment materials and/or consent letter / parental consent / minor assent on your registration form. An IRB member will review your documents without you present and send you written feedback for you to revise your documents on your own time. You will receive feedback within 48 hours of the time you register for.
If you register for IRB Document Review, you will not be scheduled to meet or talk with an IRB member in real-time. If you want to work with someone in real-time, please register for group writing sessions.
We can review your recruitment materials and/or consent letter / parental consent / minor assent. If you submit a consent letter, please make sure you are using the most current NCU IRB consent letter template.
Please note that we cannot revise templates from other IRBs or institutions.
Register for IRB Document Review through our scheduling system below. To register, you will follow these steps:
Need help? Use our IRB Writing Services Guide. If that doesn't answer your question, please email irb@ncu.edu.
Please select your time zone first. You will then schedule a time for an IRB member to review your documents asynchronously.
