The IRB team has created two checklists to help faculty and students. 

  1. The Student Checklist will help students complete their IRB applications.
  2. The Faculty Checklist will help faculty review IRB applications.

 

Getting Started & How to Navigate the IRB Website

If you are an Abraham Lincoln University (ALU) researcher, we are excited to have you! Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the NCU IRB website. The below video provides a brief overview on how to navigate through the IRB website.

Step 1: Affiliate CITI with NCU

If you already have a CITI account, follow these instructions to affiliate with Northcentral University. 

  1. Login to CITI
  2. Go to “Courses” in the top navigation menu
  3. Under “Institutional Courses,” select “Add Affiliation”
  4. Add Northcentral University

Step 2: Review Resources

Review the "Getting Started" page to consider the feasibility of your study.

Step 3: Use IRB services

To learn about writing/revising your IRB application, you can register to attend weekly Group Sessions  or register for IRB Document Review.

CITI training
