This guide describes the many e-book resources available through the NCU Library and how to use them.

Credo Reference

The Credo Reference Academic Core Collection includes over 835 titles with particular emphasis on subject encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, and reference handbooks. Also included are over 1,000 short reference videos, nearly 300,000 high-resolution art images, and thousands of additional images across all subject areas. Subject coverage is especially diverse and equipped to address all key disciplines.

To limit your search to e-books only, select Find a Book tab at the top of the page, as shown below. You can search within book titles or browse by subject. Note: if you use the main search box, your search will return more than just books.

SAGE Knowledge

The SAGE Knowledge database provides an expansive range of SAGE eBook and eReference content (more than 4,800 titles) including scholarly monographs, reference works, handbooks, series, and professional development titles.

To limit your search to reference e-books only, select Reference in the middle of the page, as shown below. You can search within Sage Reference or browse by discipline. Note: if you use the main search box, your search will return more than just reference books.

SAGE Research Methods

The SAGE Research Methods database may be used to locate information about research design and methodology. It includes over 175,000 pages of content from the following sources: encyclopedias, dictionaries, books, journal articles, videos, and major works--resources that bring together the seminal articles about that particular methodology.

To search for e-books only, scroll down to the "I want to..." section and click on Reference, as shown below. Note: if you use the main search box, your search will return more than just reference books.
