E-Books

This guide describes the many e-book resources available through the NCU Library and how to use them.

Finding Book Chapters

For locating chapters, Ebook Central is a good starting point since it has over 200,000 academic books in all subject areas.

We suggest doing a simple search in Ebook Central for your keyword or phrase. Make sure to use quotation marks when looking for exact phrases. You may read more about Phrase Searching within the Research Process guide.

Once on your results screen, click the tab for Chapter Results, as shown below.

For information about citing book chapters, please refer to the APA Style resources provided through the Academic Success Center. The Academic Success Center provides access to Academic Writer, which provides over 150 sample references as well as nearly 10 sample papers. It also incorporates all of the references and other content from the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition.
