This research has been chosen to provide an overarching view of the importance of K-12 schools in the process of disaster education. The researchers in this article investigate school-based disaster educations programs, bringing to light key issues that will exist in any school system. The results of this study relate the importance of disaster education prior to experiencing an emergency within a K-12 School System.
