The article focuses on the racial terror that began with the shooting of the unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in Fergusson, MO in 2014. Police officer Wilson fired the deadly shot. The authors highlight the anti-Blackness in the U.S. and observe that the use of racial terror does not assume that all Black people experience its impact equally. The authors also discussed that the technologies of racial terror do intensify racial categories while hardening sociocultural borders.
