Data analysis and interpretation
Byrne, D. (2017). Project planner: Data analysis and interpretation. SAGE Research Methods.
The author provides considerations for selecting a qualitative data analysis method. He offers an introduction to common techniques for content and thematic analysis as well as specific techniques for narrative research, phenomenology, and grounded theory.
NVivo
Nvivo, a qualitative data analysis research tool, is provided to NU students free of charge. The "Guide to NVivo Installation" is located in the Dissertation Center under 'Resources' and within the 'Using Technology in Research' group.

These authors offer a “data analysis spiral” approach for data management, theme development, and interpretation of research findings. Attention is paid to each of the research designs, with a discussion about the similarities and differences among them.
