This brief overview of conceptual frameworks provide an explanation of argument for a study or project. Conceptual frameworks act as acceptance of existing theories and findings and narrows the focus to the specific problem.

This article provides a step-by-step process for establishing a conceptual framework for your study. The authors apply the process to doctoral students.

This is a discussion of the differences and similarities in conceptual and theoretical frameworks. The authors also show the role of a literature review and conceptual/theoretical frameworks in developing qualitative or quantitative proposals.

In this chapter, the authors provided various definitions of theory in the context context for scholar practitioners examining practice-based problems. Although the context of this resource is education, the concepts generalize to broader areas.
