Welcome to the Applied Doctoral Center! The Applied Doctoral Center is a collection of resources to support students in completing their project/dissertation-in-practice as part of the Applied Doctoral Experience (ADE).

Programs that use the Applied Doctoral Experience are:

  • EdD  for students who started April 2019 onwards (excluding students in the DCP)
  • DMFT for students who started October 2020 onwards (DMFT students who started before October can choose between the ADE or DSE).

Important: If you are working on a dissertation as part of the Doctoral Student Experience (DSE), you will find your resources in the Dissertation Center.

Student Support

The Applied Doctoral Center is broken up into a collection of guides. Each guide supports you in different areas of your project/dissertation-in-practice. Use the buttons below to navigate to a guide. Once in a guide, you can use the table of contents on the left to navigate within the guide itself or use the link at the top of the page to return to the Applied Doctoral Center homepage.
